True North
22–36 Guests · Onboard Helicopter & 6 Adventure Boats
Australia’s iconic adventure-luxury yachts TRUE NORTH (36 guests) and TRUE NORTH II (22 guests)—purpose-built with shallow drafts and an onboard helicopter to access the deepest gorges of the Kimberley and Raja Ampat.
The Onboard Experience
For nearly four decades, True North has been the benchmark for activity-driven luxury expeditions across the Australian coastline, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia aboard its two purpose-built adventure yachts: flagship TRUE NORTH (36 guests) and the even more intimate TRUE NORTH II (22 guests).
Engineered specifically with shallow drafts (just over 2 metres), both yachts can sail directly into narrow river systems, beneath cascading Kimberley waterfalls, and over shallow coral atolls where larger expedition ships are forced to anchor miles offshore.
Rather than using inflatable rubber Zodiacs, True North carries six solid aluminium adventure boats alongside a dedicated onboard helicopter—allowing guests to spend their days heli-picnicking on remote mountain peaks, fishing for barramundi, snorkelling pristine reefs, and returning to superb modern Australian dining and fine Western Australian wines.
- •Two intimate, shallow-draft adventure yachts: TRUE NORTH (36 guests) and TRUE NORTH II (22 guests)
- •Dedicated onboard helicopter and six custom aluminium adventure tenders
- •Unrivalled access to the Kimberley, Rowley Shoals, Ningaloo Reef, West Papua, and Papua New Guinea
- •Acclaimed modern Australian coastal cuisine paired with premier Australian wines
